The Gran Paradiso 4061mt is the highest mountain entirely in Italy and it is located in one of the most impressive National Park in the Alps.
The crossing from north to south along the valleys of the Valle d’Aosta region and ends with a climb of the Gran Paradiso.
The paths Italians are generally quieter than in France and Switzerland; the combination of landscape and environment friendly, relaxed hospitality in the hut, gives a good reason to spend a great week!

I day:
arrival in Settimo Vittone (TO), meeting with mountain guide and presentation of the program and materials testing

II° day:
ValGrisanches 1660 m. – rifugio Bezzi 2248m.
Taxi transfer to Valgrisanches, following the long lake of Beauregard easy path leads to the hut where we spend the first night. This hut has a great reputation for excellent food, wines and a friendly atmosphere.
Positive vertical drop:588m. Negative vertical drop: 0 Time travel: 2h

III° day:
Rifugio Bezzi 2248m. – Col Bassac Dere 3082m. – Rifugio Benevolo 2285m.
Early start to reach Col Bassac Dere, from where you can admire the valley of Rhemes and part of our itinerary. Along Lake Golettaz with a final steep slope you come to the Benevolo refuge.
Positive vertical drop:850 m. Negative vertical drop: 800 m. Time travel: 4-5 h

IV° day:
rifugio Benevolo 2285m. – Punta Basei 3336m. – Pont Valsavaranches 1960m.
climb to the top Basei offering the best view of the park of Gran Paradiso and Vanoise. Descent of Nivolet plateau and crossing the entire upper floor last steep descent on the Pont. Where we find the road!
Positive vertical drop:1051m.

Negative vertical drop: 1376 m. Time travel: 5-6h

V° day:
Pont Valsavaranches 1960m. – rifugio Vittorio Emanuele 2714m. Day of rest before getting to our top!
Positive vertical drop: 750m. Negative vertical drop: 0 Time travel: 2 h

VI° day:
the day starts very early, get up at 4 o’clock, after breakfast, we start in the dark with the headlamps for a long way.
The Gran Paradiso is a mountain appreciated by the majority of Italians, because it is the highest mountain entirely in Italy not by a frontier Swiss or French. At the end of the glacier we have to climb the cliff to reach the beautiful view and greet the statue of the Madonna on top.
