Preparations

Training:
* Good hikers used to walk 4 – 6 hours/day, climbing 600-800m., able to bear a 250 m/hour positive climb.

** Very good,frequent hikers. Used to multi-day, 6-8 hour/day hikes, with 600- 800m. positive climb. Able to bear a 250 m/hour positive climb.

***Frequent sport hikers used to walk every weekend. Used to multi-day, 8 hour/day hikes, with 1000- 1300m. positive climb. Able to bear a 300 m/hour positive climb.

**** Expert sport trekkers who seek new challenges. High endurance skills, able to walk 8-12 hours and climb 1300- 1800 positive meters/day.

Technical level (french scale)

# Level F (easy) and PD (little difficult), gentle snow slopes 30° max, easy rock climbing sections max 2nd UIAA grade.

## Level AD (pretty difficult), snow and ice slopes 40° max, 2nd and 3rd UIAA grade rock climb.

### Level D (difficult) to TD (very difficult), snow and ice slopes 55°, 4th and 5th UIAA grade rock climb.

#### Level ED (extremely difficult), long, very demanding routes, snow and ice slopes 70°, 6th UIAA grade rock climb.
